Carbonated food
include("adsense.php"); ?>A recent BoingBoing post speaks of a wonder unleashed by a BYU scientist: carbonated yogurt. My friends will know that I make carbonated fruit for special occasions–I wonder exactly what sort of prior art exists on this point? The Wired News story’s link to the patent involved is what reminds me of this. At the very least, it dates back to 1998, when I went to Minicon 33 and learned of the art of carbonation from Matthew Gress, whose webpage on the subject has more information. (Alas, it doesn’t appear to be working at the moment, but Google and archive.org both cache it.) Good times.
