October 3rd, 2006
Here’s another list of law-inspired band names. If (for some inscrutable reason) you dig this sort of thing, you might find my prior post on the subject interesting:

| the Adjudged Infringers | Pop-core (based in Wilmington DE) | Overbroad |
| Paul Cohen and the Miller Tests | Punk | F*ck the Draft |
| the Specific Performers | Cello-heavy chamber-punk | Æquitas |
| the Common Mekaniks | Gangsta rap | P. H. O. S. I. T. A. |
| Hunter’s Lessee | Southern rock | Justice Story |
| The Men on the Clapham Omnibus | Arty concept-rock, always performs anonymously and masked | The Life and Times of John Doe |
| Terry, Stop! | Happy hardcore | Frisk |

now presiding in this court of hip hop justice, my rap forte
is judge, jury, bailiff, and prosecutin DA
cause ceteris paribus
my modus operandi
is carpe diem whether de facto or de jure
comprende?
the people versus
you and your sensei
teachin that style of wordplay
weaker than Wednesday
regardless of what your friends say
they’re all dissable
stricken from the record
and deemed inadmissible
while this long arm of the law grabs the mic
to shoot dope rhymes first and ask questions later
the def sentences of this live litigator
close a case tighter than the jaws of a gator
stenographers are steady loggin
the jargon that your counselors are barkin
in hopes of a plea bargain
but when you read back verbatim
what they sayin to persuade them
they realize exactly how I played them
I come with the truth, whole truth, and nothing but
cause the truth hurts just as much as fucking with Live will
I brew skill with refills from now untill
plagiarizing MCs get their flows distilled
