California driver’s license under UV

Originally uploaded by tellumo.

Because I’m a huge dork, I hold official documents under a blacklight shortly after I get them to check for fluorescent indicia. (Because I’m a huger dork, I use words like “indicia.”) A state flag on a driver’s license is no great shakes, but I only know of one place that gets the colors right.

That’s suprising, cool and funny all at the same time. Perhaps multi-color makes it that much harder to forge, but it’s a nice creative touch, nonetheless.
