A conversation from the elevator this evening:
Fellow student: Do you know what time it is?
Me: Just after eleven–they just kicked me out of the library. Well, not exactly, but they were starting to clean, and I was getting tired, so I left.
FS: Oh, if they were starting to clean, then you were kicked out.
AE: Well, they didn’t ask me directly. One might say I was constructively kicked out.
